Lenny Dee - Gentle On My Mind (1968)

I'm going to the seaside with the wife and the nipper tomorrow so here's a little something to be getting along with.  Hopefully the views on the beach will be as nice as on this cover!

Happy Barefoot Boy - for my five-year-old boy who loves the beach.

thanks Simon, can't wait to hear this. I never thought Lenny Dee was a real person, but instead a disguise for a well known keyboard player recording for a rival record label. But no. According to wiki he is real, an American from Chicago with an impressive list of albums to his credit.

It's been really nice to find your blog. So many of the old music/record blogs seem to be going down "thanks" to the jerks who feel violated by music that is virtually impossible to find elsewhere.
Thanks again for some wonderful discs.
