Enoch Light - Discotheque Volume 2 (1965)
I was talking to someone from the States recently about Enoch Light. Being English (not my fault!) and living here in the England, Enoch Light albums are pretty few and far between, so it's always nice to stumble across one. Also, his music always sounds so vibrant, exciting and exotic to me.
Anyway, this is a nice one and features tracks that are a little different from the norm. Some of the tracks seem to end suddenly, don't worry, it's just that on the album they tend to run into each other. Play them in sequence and you'll see what I mean. Have a nice Wednesday.

Oh, this is a MONO version.
Strange, EL's Discotheque Vol.1 was in stereo, shared in 2009 by the sadly gone HOS; many thanks for completing the Light collection!
Viva Mono,
And above all, Viva In-Flight Entertainment!!!
Thank you again so much
The two Enoch Light discotheque albums are long time faves of mine, absolutely awesome!
Interesting to see that they issued a *mono* AND ALSO a *stereo* version! Didi, I have the stereo version, so I know it does exist (kindly provided through a certain Portal last year).
I will give this a careful listen, because usually I don't get the chance to compare both mono and stereo versions of the exact same album! (Usually it is either this or that.)
Thanks again, you are so generous.
This is great - I have never seen a copy over here. Thanks!
I love this LP. Never heard volume 1.
OH I am too late - it has been taken down by the killjoys! :(
