Duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh, duh-duh-duh

Well, as Andy Williams once sang "It's the most wonderful time of the year..." and he was right...the release of a new Star Wars film, what could be more wonderful than that?

To celebrate I'm reposting some of those cool (in quotes) Star Wars albums we all love so much.

Have a great Christmas everyone and a great New Year.  Hopefully see you again in 2016.

Hugo Montenegro - Lady In Cement (Soundtrack) (1968)

Best known for his Morricone covers but Hugo could write a mean tune himself as this wonderful soundtrack shows. This is the 2010 vinyl re-release with a couple of extra tracks  Lady In Cement.

BBC Radiophonic Workshop - Fourth Dimension (1973)

I have posted this in the past but my previous copy was a little crackly.  This is a new 180G version I bought a couple of months back, so I thought I'd repost.  And very nice it sounds too.

Zacharias - The Sensational Sound Of (Studio 2 Stereo) (1970)

Hope you're all having a good summer.  I've been wanting to post this for a while as it's one of my favourite S2S albums, mainly because of the great version of Carry That Weight.

It's good to be back.

Franck Pourcel - Latino Americano (1965) - REQUEST

Ok, whilst I get round to recording a new stack of stuff I'll start by posting some requests for previous posts with collapsed links.  Here's the first, a lovely FP S2S album from the year of my birth, '65.

I'll try and do a few this week, so if you have any requests, please let me know.

Persuasive Percussion 1,2,3 (Remaster) (2013)

I appreciate these have been posted a thousand times on a thousand different blogs but I thought I'd stick them up as this is the recent(ish) remaster vinyl release for all three volumes.

Nice sound.

Byron Parker - Nothing But Percussion (1961)

Now that the long hard winter is over perhaps I can get back into the swing of things again.  This is my one and only album by Byron Parker.  Listen to a snippet here.

Over the last few months I've had stacks of requests for reposts so I will try and start re-upping some albums over the next few days/weeks.  Apologies to all those I've not got back to.
