Well, apparently this is our last day of the indian summer, so what better way to say goodbye than with this album, one of the best you'll hear today, or any day for that matter.
The wonderful
Butterfly.
Be quick though; I think we're on someone's hit list again.

We've been quick enough, and we thank you again.
Anything by Mancini is worth hearing. Thanks for a good one!
Quick here as well, but a shame things have to be so. Thanks you for this great LP!
Mancini at his best, I love his redo of Lujon.
thanks very much!
Great post! I hope 'the man' leaves you alone so you can continue to keep this most excellent blog going.
Your posts always hit the spot. So much great music!
Thanks for all your work and also thanks for adding my blog to your sidebar. You were an inspiration to me in starting my blog, and I continue to be inspired by your excellent choices!
Keep 'em flying!
Still in time - phew!
Thanks for a great album, I am very much looking forward this one!!
Thank you very much!
Just love the cover - the musics wonderful too, interesting to hear an updated version of "Slow Hot Wind", although it can never replace the original, can it?
@morghini. No, it can't. Didn't some modern chill-out track use Slow Hot Wind too?
I bought a CD once by Giles someone just because there was a remix of Butterfly on it. Actually not too bad.
probably Giles Peterson, who has great tastes in wide range of music. I personally hate remixes of classic music, its lazy & ruins the original for me. Will never forgive those cretins who did the Morricone Remix cds. BTW got tickets for the Leeds show for the Spaghetti Western Orchestra too
