A classic album this. I apologise in advance for not separating the tracks. I did try, but they all run into each other and it turned into a bit of a nightmare.
Meco (real name Domenico Monardo, born 29 November 1939) is an American record producer and musician, as well as the name of a band or production team based around him. Meco is best known for his 1977 disco (Space Disco) version of the Star Wars theme from his album Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk; both the single and album were certified platinum in the U.S.
It would be desirable to find also Meco's singles: "The Raiders March and Cairo Nights" (1981), "Shogun" (1980), "Topsy", "Grazing In The Grass", "Devil's Delight", "Anything Goes / Music Makers" (1984).

This looks like it'll be great. And just what are those space people doing?
I think the kids call it "getting down".
Hello
I know this album well and you're right, it is best to leave the tracks to run as one long track per side.
Great stuff!
Mark
I remember buying the theme from star wars meco single on the RCA label.

Hi, while having read a lot about Meco and the Star Wars movie, I have never come around to watch that film or to listen to that music.
But now I really intend to finally make it, and this album will be the way for me. Thank you!!
Oh, and I have no problem at all with the continious tracks when it is supposed to be like that.
