Another outstanding share, jazzy and fresh arrangements, made for happy mood! My wife and I are singing in an amateur choir and we highly appreciate this kind of vocal as well as the instrumental music. Many thanks again!
Hey, thanks for the upgrade! I have heard this album quite a few times, but never before in this good shape! And the back cover I am seeing for the first time now!
I am not in a choir (as Didi and his wife), but I am singing all day by myself, and this is also a good way to train singing. At least I am imagining that I am doing well...
i was encouraged by my love to studio2 series and the postive comments here though i am not a fan of singers with instrumentals sadly after the download i was irritated by the spoil of the singers to the great music and arrangments , i see it pointless to add singers to intrumentals since it's originally famous songs , i would hear the original song version and won't bother hear singers instead , hope my opinion won't offend anyone i always follow this great blog and thank you for the kind effort cheers
Hi Hany. No worries, I get your point. I also prefer instrumental only tracks, but vocal tracks have their place. A change is as good as a rest and all that.
Appreciate Hany's comments, too, but thanks to you and other (some sadly departed) blogs, I have become an enthusaist for the Mike Sammes Singers, who strike me as being simultaneously classier and sillier than their American counterparts. These arrangements would also have taken a lot of skill to "bring off," and the singers are incredibly skilled.
I've never listened to The Mike Sammes Singers. Although I've heard of them, what attracted me to your share was the back cover - Orchestrated by Johnny Scott! Wow! Can't wait to give it a listen. Thanks for sharing!

I'm a great fan of the M S singers so this pushes all my buttons and I thank you.
