The Mystic Moods Orchestra - Love Token (1972)

Another cool Sunday morning record.  This one drives my wife mad for some reason.  Maybe because I'm a man of habit and play it every weekend!

I have to be totally honest and say that as much as I like the Mystic Moods Orchestra music I am put off by the added sounds at the begining, middle and end.

Their music is wonderful, but in my opinion is ruined by either rain or wind/water being added, some people may like it but not for me, pity as I love the orchestra.

I know exactly what you mean, VR. It did disappoint me the first time I heard the album, but I'm used to it now, I guess and it doesn't bother me much anymore.

I purchased a "Stormy Weekend" LP from the Record Club of America in 1970 and must have listened to it a thousand times. The rain sound effects are an essential component to why the album is always a cozy companion. Thanks for the post. I had not heard this gem before.
