Robert James Orchestra - Take A Break (Studio 2 Stereo) (1972)
Mmm...couldn't find anything Royal to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee weekend here in the UK, so I thought I'd go for the next best thing...a record that I'm sure is in Her Majesty's collection.
What a wonderful record! I'm from the US & didn't get to see these commercials, but the singers sound so much like the ones used in The Partridge Family.
AAwwwwww!!! One place i thought there would be no mention of Royals!
Oh well - great record - Im loving this, appreciating with a nice drink too whilst the wife wastes her time with the other drones watching a boat race.......or something equally pointless

Thank you have a nice Sunday!
Thanks for this great album.
Are you gonna watch the Thames Pageant this afternoon? Don't forget your umbrella? Here in The Netherlands it rains cats and dogs.
What a wonderful record!

Thanks all. Hope you enjoy the LP. It's tipping down with rain here in Warwick. Depressing.
Doug, here's one of the classic ads:

Those of us in the UK of a certain age - I'm mid-to-late! 40s - look back on these ads with fondness.
Here's some more from the LP:
