Hugo Montenegro - Original Music From The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (1965)

I loved U.N.C.L.E. from the very first time I saw it in the early 70s.  I recently splashed out a small fortune on the complete DVD box set thing and have been driving my wife mad watching episode upon episode.  The soundtrack is fantastic too and here it is.

Girl In A Suitcase (CD, 2009)

Now, I've never posted a CD and I probably won't  post another (apart from maybe the companion CD to this, Watch With Teacher), but this CD is now unfortunately out of print and a couple of people have contacted me to see if I have it.  Yes, I do!

Many people my age in the UK (mid forties) will certainly recognise many of these tracks, they're simply fantastic.  Beg, steal or borrow a copy of this if you can, because it really is an exceptional CD.

Jackie Lee - Rupert (1970)

One of the best ever TV theme tunes.  Now where are my checked trousers?

Jacky - White Horses (1968)

Ah, this takes you back doesn't it?  Reminds me of coming home from school and turning on the tele.  Lovely.

Johnny Keating & His Band - Swing Revisited (1964)

Johnny Keating and His Band - Swing Revisited (1964)

Johnny Pearson & His Orchestra - Theme From The Rat Catchers (1966)

I thought I'd start posting a few of my favourite singles too.  This is a classic from Johnny Pearson.  The theme from a short-lived TV series called The Rat Catchers.

Roy Budd - Budd 'n' Bossa (1970)

The best Bossa Nova album outside of Brazil, according  to Roy himself anyway!  One of my favourite albums.
