Geoff Love & His Orchestra - Star Wars & Other Space Themes (1978)

I know what you're thinking and yes, these have been posted a thousand times on a thousand different sites, but I recently managed to find this album on CD - I'd been looking for it for a few years - so I thought I'd upload a clean, crackle-free version.  The CD also includes the follow-up LP Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Other Disco Galactic Themes, so you get two albums for the price of one!

Theme from Star Trek

  2. Brilliant thanks! Im seeing a few Geoff Love in the charity shops at the minute but they seem to be more "War" soundtracks & as a result are less of an interest to me

  3. O, yeah the war ones are OK but these space ones are great. The Superheroes one is good too, if you can find it.

  6. Yay! I had the 3 Encounters album before, but not the Star Wars yet! And of course neither in CD quality, so this is a wonderful catch!! Thank you so much!!

  7. Great selection this, and I really like the Time Machine theme especially as it's one of my most favourite films.

    Thank You

  12. Thanks.
I used to have this on vinyl when I was a pre-teen.
The version of Leia's Theme on here is better than John Williams version.
It's like an emotional journey in one song.
