On Spiral 404 not found is caused by the following. Might be of some help. Nice LP - we had this one growing up. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Occasionally there is a bug where the hyperlink will not work and gives you a '404 page not found' response. This is because some additional text usually something like http://www.blogger.com/etc gets added to the actual link. Just cut and paste the text into a new browser, remove the superfluous characters i.e. everything before the second http://etc - and then it should work.
This group was made up of the top session men of London led by Stan Roderick who was previously played trumpet with the Ted Heath band. They made quite a few albums for Decca that were only ever released in the USA on the London label. If anyone has copies let us know!
Stan Reynolds, did all of the "Hiltonaires" recordings using Session men, prominently those from the Ted Heath band. The majority of the arrangements are his also.
When I last spoke to Stan he told me he never kept any copies so anything I get I send a copy to him.
Hi there, the link doesn't seem to work...
ReplyDeleteHI Fabien, just tried the link and it seemed to be fine.
ReplyDeleteHmm, "file not found" for me.

Cooler than I expected. A very swank Christmas album! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Algy. I have a couple of Stan Reynolds albums, never realised he was involved with this album.
